Questions We Get a Lot

Matching lift capacity to your vehicle's gross weight is the most important safety step before purchasing. As a general rule, choose a lift rated well above your vehicle's curb weight to allow a safe working margin. Your vehicle's owner manual or the manufacturer's website will list the exact weight you need to reference.

Most car lifts perform best on a level concrete floor of adequate thickness — typically a minimum of 4 inches for portable models and greater depth for permanently mounted two-post lifts. Always review the installation and setup instructions included with your lift before use, as floor requirements vary by model type and weight rating.

Many of our car lifts are designed so that a determined and mechanically confident owner can complete assembly using the hardware and instructions provided in the box. That said, two-post lifts in particular involve anchoring and alignment steps where having an additional set of hands makes the process safer and more accurate. Always follow the included manual and consult a qualified professional if you have any uncertainty.

We offer Free Shipping on Most Orders Within the Continental U.S. (Excludes AK/HI) — no minimum required. If your lift arrives and isn't the right fit, our 30-Day Return Policy has you covered. Please visit our Return Policy page for full details on eligibility and the return process.

About Our Car Lifts

A car lift is one of the most transformative investments a garage owner can make. Designed to elevate a vehicle safely off the ground, these systems give you full, unrestricted access to the underside of a car or truck — turning a standard garage bay into a functional workspace where real maintenance and repairs can happen. They are built for home enthusiasts who want professional-level access, and for those who simply refuse to compromise on how their garage functions. When choosing a car lift, the key factors to weigh are weight capacity relative to your heaviest vehicle, lifting height range to accommodate your work style, footprint relative to your available floor space, and the quality of the steel construction and safety locking mechanisms. Portable options offer flexibility and can be stored away when not in use, while fixed two-post designs deliver maximum stability for frequent, heavy-duty work. The right lift removes the guesswork from under-vehicle work and brings a new level of confidence, safety, and efficiency to everything you do in your garage.
